sanity / whatever little poetry that still thrives in my blood / the patience I cultivated so patiently by sitting at the front desk, facing different kinds of people — nastiest, humblest, stupidest, proudest, kindest, strongest, cleverest / the patience, oh the sweet patience mixed with bubbling frustration / my voice as I do every day / my singing voice by not singing much / access to all the good memories because my overworked brain might run out of storage space / the rights to speak because my words have already created enough ruins, thunderstorms, and revolutions / some more of my identity / the ability to differentiate good music because everything might sound the same in the future / friends and more friends because only a select few can handle a firecracker like me / the values that define me / him because I cannot think of anything else than a forever with him / happiness, oh this happiness
