I’m a soft toy
stuffed with regrets.
Sometimes,
I’m a used sanitary napkin,
wanting to decompose
and recycle,
but instead, I add
to the pollution
of my mind’s environment
by overthinking.
If I have to introduce myself
with a positive metaphor,
I’m a poem in motion,
accepting my fate
unpoetically.
